Flowergarden May 14

As we are approaching the end of May, eight months after establishing our backyard I am having a lot of fun watching and smelling the wonderful flowers blooming in the flower garden. After the first winter 🙂 mostly everything is doing well. The only part that failed miserably is the raised box vegetable garden. Since nothing grew well in it I suspect, that there was a big problem with the soil. We still harvested a few cherry tomatoes.

Let me share a few images with you of the current flowers in bloom – plus one of the baby fig tree. It is growing 5 figs right now, but there should be another crop on it in the fall – if everything goes well.
